The Company  

Noetic Cyber is an innovative venture-funded startup aimed at disrupting the cybersecurity market. Founded by a group of proven cybersecurity entrepreneurs and funded by some of the premier investors in cybersecurity, Noetic is recognized by CSO Online as one of their “Security startups to watch for 2022”, and recently received the SINET16 Innovator Award which recognizes the most innovative and compelling technologies in cyber security. Specifically, the company is taking a novel approach to helping organizations automatically discover, prioritize, and react to, cybersecurity posture issues. As a foundational aspect of this, Noetic has delivered a cyber asset management and controls platform, addressing a market segment recently defined by Gartner as Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM).


The Opportunity 

Noetic has aggressive growth plans and we’re looking for two Business Development Representatives (BDR) to help fuel that growth. Based in Boston and London and working directly for the Director of Demand Generation, the BDR will be collaborating closely with both Marketing and Sales to develop new business opportunities. This is a first hire in this role, so will have a critical role in helping to build out the program with the potential for future growth and management opportunities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Research organizations that fit Noetic’s ideal customer profile, utilizing intent tools to further qualify and prioritize prospects that may be interested in our CAASM solution
  • Leverage business development & prospecting tools to source key security contacts in target accounts and qualify their fit as a potential customer and level of interest
  • Develop and execute outreach cadences (through phone, email, LinkedIn and others) to network with potential prospects
  • Execute campaigns to help raise Noetic’s brand awareness to facilitate conversations with targeted accounts
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with existing contacts, with the intent of raising the interest in Noetic’s platform
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from Noetic’s website, and follow up with marketing-generated leads from F2F & virtual events, paid search and other tactics.
  • Work closely with regional Account Executives to transfer qualified prospects into a first meeting
  • Work with marketing to provide feedback on messaging, lead scoring, and cadence effectiveness
  • Support in-person regional events as needed (some travel may be required)



  • Experience in a Business Development role, preferably in cybersecurity or B2B software
  • Experience working in a small company or startup, with an eagerness to build new programs and functions
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to listen and overcome objections
  • Positive energy, tenacity, and a track record of achieving goals
  • Ability to solve problems, proven time management skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
