The Company
Noetic Cyber is a new venture-funded startup aimed at disrupting the cybersecurity market. Funded by some of the premier investors in cybersecurity, we are targeting an aspect of the cybersecurity problem space which is under-serviced and ripe for disruption. Noetic is founded by 3 successful serial cybersecurity entrepreneurs with over 75 years of experience involving 9 successful startups, including 2 IPOs. The Opportunity
Noetic is looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to partner with an Account Manager to drive initial sales efforts in North America. The goal will be to deliver the technical value of the Noetic platform to prospects and partners. Together with the Account Manager, the goal will be to build a strong business justification to the end-user, while ensuring that the given annual quota is met/exceeded.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to articulate the importance of Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM) and Continuous Controls Monitoring (CCM) and evangelize Noetic as an emerging market player in this space.
  • Understand customer requirements and demonstrate the value of Noetic within the customers’ environment.
  • Deliver sales presentations, present technical information about the Noetic platform and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Manage all phases of the technical sales cycle and product evaluations including installations, presenting at seminars, responding to RFP’s and RFI’s and the technical development of Noetic partners.
  • Ability to work independently and team collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Travel as needed to visit prospects and customers, and to engage onsite customer work when required, across North America.

Requirements

  • Drive, Determination and Passion.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school.
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in supporting software solution sales or as a specialist within (cyber)-security related environments.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical to executive level technical decision makers.
  • Experienced in selling or demonstrating enterprise business solutions for mid to large audiences.
  • Solid grounding and understanding in networking, cloud, and key cyber tools (endpoint security, cloud security, vulnerability management).
  • Working knowledge of Python, JAVA, Shell, Regular Expression, Linux and Windows OS.
  • Relevant certification in subject domain is desirable e.g. CISSP (preferred), AWS or MCSE, MCP Microsoft Certifications.
