Noetic picks up three Cybersecurity Excellence Awards

2022 award winner for Continuous Controls Monitoring, Best Cybersecurity Startup and Most Innovative Cybersecurity company

We are just a few weeks into 2022 and we are already seeing significant momentum around Noetic Cyber and our mission to address some of the fundamental challenges in cybersecurity. Customers are recognizing that good cyber asset visibility and management is foundational to running a successful cybersecurity program. Without a clear understanding of what you have, and more importantly, why you should care, then it is impossible to achieve good cyber hygiene.

It is exciting for us to receive external recognition of both the problem we are addressing, and the progress that Noetic is making. In the last week we have been selected by CSO Online as one of their six ‘security startups to watch for in 2022’, and we are also delighted to be recognized by Cybersecurity Insiders in multiple categories in the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

The 2022 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards recognize companies, products and professionals that demonstrate excellence, innovation and leadership in information security. The finalists and winners have been selected based on the strength of their nomination as well as the popular vote by members of the Information Security Community (both ratings and comments).

In our first year of entering, we won for Best Continuous Controls Monitoring, Best Cybersecurity Startup and Most Innovative Cybersecurity Company.

New Approach to Cybersecurity Asset Management

This industry recognition demonstrates how our approach to cybersecurity asset management and controls differentiates us from others in the industry. We see the building of a comprehensive asset inventory, across cloud and on-premises, as a critical first step to improving cyber posture and reducing risk.

Without that complete visibility, security teams cannot truly understand what they have, and prioritize their workload effectively on the actions which will have the most impact on the business. But visibility without action is of limited value, which is why our commitment to the ‘continuous’ inventory, monitoring and remediation of cyber assets and controls is so important, and highlighted by the award for ‘Best Continuous Controls Monitoring’ solution.

By building automation & workflow into the core of our solution, we can help security teams recognize when their systems and networks have drifted away from their desired state, and automate the process to correct that drift, bringing the human into the loop when necessary. This means that we can build self-correcting policies for common security coverage gaps, improving cyber posture without significant increase to team workload.

Gartner defined this market space in the Gartner® Hype Cycle™ for Network Security, 2021 as Cyber Asset Attack Surface Management (CAASM), describing it as a way to ‘solve persistent asset visibility and vulnerability challenges.’ We believe that this is only the beginning of the potential offered by our solution, and we’re excited that the market is recognizing the importance of CAASM and our approach to it.

This recognition from the Cybersecurity Excellence Awards is the latest endorsement of the technology we’re delivering to customers today to solve real problems around coverage gaps and toxic combinations. We’d encourage you to check out a video of the platform in action or register for a personalized demo for a deeper dive into the full features of our technology.
